Nearly 40 Members of the Sheriff’s Office Recognized for Recent Promotions

(YAPHANK, NY): On Tuesday, October 21, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. and the executive staff held a promotional ceremony at the Yaphank Correctional Facility.

 The ceremony recognized nearly 40 Correction Officers, Deputy Sheriffs and professional staff for promotions and investigator appointments in the last year. Friends and family were invited to celebrate the occasion. Rank promotions are achieved by through exceptional marks on highly competitive exams in addition to their distinguished service in the Sheriff’s organization.
