SUFFOLK COUNTY SHERIFF HONORS SUFFOLK SHERIFF’S OFFICE EXPLORER NICHOLAS GOLDING 


(YAPHANK, NY) On Wednesday, December 17, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. presented Nicholas D.J. Golding with the Sheriff’s Community Leadership Award. 

 

Nicholas has been a Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Explorer for four years and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Explorer.  Beyond his volunteer service as a Sheriff’s Office Explorer, Nicholas recently donated 3,300 pairs of socks to the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless at their Stuff the Pantry event in November. Additionally, he has served as Spokesperson for the American Cancer Society Making Strides against Breast Cancer and received the Unsung Hero Award from the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless. 

 

Each month, Sheriff Toulon presents the Community Leadership Award to Suffolk County residents and organizations that go above and beyond to support their communities and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
