SUFFOLK COUNTY SHERIFF HONORS PATRICIA POGGI OF EJ’S PJS WITH COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD

(YAPHANK, NY) – On Monday, August 25, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. honored Patricia Poggi, founder of EJ’s PJs, with the Community Leadership Award during the Sheriff’s Office Back-to-School Giveaway. Sheriff Toulon recognized Patricia for her dedication to children and families across Suffolk County and her ongoing efforts to provide new pajamas to children and adults in need.

In addition to her annual pajama drives, Patricia donates hundreds of pajamas at the Sheriff’s Office Back-to-School Giveaway and during the Pajama and Toy Giveaway, helping ensure that local children feel comforted and supported during these important times of year.

Each month, Sheriff Toulon presents the Community Leadership Award to Suffolk County residents who go above and beyond to support their communities and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
