SUFFOLK COUNTY SHERIFF HONORS CHRIS R. VACCARO FOR COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

(LAKE RONKONKAMA, NY) – Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. recognized Chris R. Vaccaro with the April Sheriff’s Community Leadership Award for his outstanding service to the Suffolk County community.

A lifelong Suffolk County resident, Vaccaro has made a significant impact through his work in education, journalism, and community organizations. He serves in several leadership roles, including President of the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame and Founder of the Sachem Education Foundation, while also mentoring students and supporting youth and nonprofit initiatives across the county. After presenting the award Sheriff Toulon was a guest on WSHR 91.9FM, Sachem School District’s radio station.
