SUFFOLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS PENNSYLVANIA FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Date: January 7, 2022

Sean Healy

(Riverhead, NY) Yesterday, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Bureau Investigators arrested Sean Healy, 36, of Center Moriches, as a fugitive from justice out of the State of Pennsylvania. Mr. Healy is wanted on two warrants: one for disseminating obscene or intimate images of a person out of Wayne County and one for possession of dangerous drugs out of Cumberland County. Both offenses are punishable by one year or more in jail per Pennsylvania statutes.

This arrest is the result of a month’s long investigation involving the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Bureau, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Domestic Violence Unit, and authorities in Pennsylvania. Mr. Healy was transient since coming back to Suffolk County and was located at an address in Center Moriches and arrested without incident. Extradition was confirmed with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania, and Mr. Healy will be arraigned today at First District Court on a fugitive complaint.

Suffolk County Sheriff Dr. Errol D. Toulon, Jr. commends his investigators for their hard work. “Our investigators often work collaboratively with officers from other jurisdictions- both locally and from other states. I am proud of the hard work of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Bureau and Domestic Violence Unit in taking this man into custody and returning him to Pennsylvania where he will answer for his crimes.”
