SUFFOLK COUNTY SHERIFF HONORS THE ASSOCIATION FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FOR COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

 

(RONKONKOMA, NY) On Thursday, May 14, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. recognized the Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHW) with the May Sheriff’s Community Leadership Award for its outstanding service to the Suffolk County community.

 

The recognition comes during Mental Health Awareness Month. MHW is Suffolk County’s leading nonprofit provider of mental health services and wellness programs, offering support, education, and outreach to individuals and families across the region. The organization plays a vital role in reducing stigma, expanding access to care, and strengthening community wellness.
