Captain Christopher Barry

Deputy Sheriff Captain Christopher Barry is a 24-year veteran of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office and is currently assigned as the Commanding Officer of the Enforcement Bureau. Captain Barry holds an AAS in Criminal Justice, a BS in Public Administration, and is a graduate of the 282nd session of the FBI National Academy. He holds certificates earned from (FBI -LEEDA) Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, the Supervisor Leadership Institute, and the Command Leadership Institute. Captain Barry also holds multiple DHS and FEMA certifications in emergency response, operations, and management.
