Arrest: Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Registration
12/10/19: At approximately 6:05 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Michael Parker, 23, of Bay Shore, NY, for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Ms. Parker was attempting to enter the Yaphank Correctional Facility Security Booth checkpoint for the purposes of visiting an inmate while knowing or having reason to know that the vehicle’s registration was suspended. A DMV computer check revealed that the vehicle’s registration was suspended due to an insurance lapse. Mr. Parker was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
