Arrest: Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Registration
11/30/19: At approximately 1:46 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Yohanser Reyes Filion, 26, of Copiague, NY, for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Mr. Reyes Filion was attempting to enter the Riverhead Correctional Facility Security Booth checkpoint for the purposes of visiting an inmate while knowing or having reason to know that the vehicle’s registration was suspended. A DMV computer check revealed that the vehicle’s registration was suspended due to an insurance lapse. Mr. Reyes Filion was charged was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, failure to surrender registration plates, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
