Arrest: Driving While Ability Impaired (Drugs)

10/24/19: At approximately 1:24 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Robert Marron, 20, of Nesconsett, NY, for driving while ability impaired (DWAI) on Middle Country Rd. in Brookhaven. Mr. Marron was pulled over for driving through a steady red light. The defendant demonstrated clues while performing standardized field sobriety tests indicating he was impaired. He was also found to be in the possession of marijuana. Mr. Marron was arrested for driving while ability impaired (drugs) and transported to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Enforcement Bureau in Yaphank. He submitted to a chemical breath and blood test. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
