Arrest: Circumventing a Court Ordered Ignition Interlock Device
11/02/19: At approximately 1:57 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Nia Hunter, 32, of Southampton, NY, for circumventing an ignition interlock device in her vehicle. Ms. Hunter was attempting to enter the Yaphank Correctional Facility Security Booth checkpoint to visit an inmate at the Yaphank Correctional Facility. A check of DMV records showed that she was required to have an ignition interlock device installed in her vehicle. She was arrested for circumventing a court ordered ignition interlock device.
