Arrest: Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle in the Second Degree
01/23/20: At approximately 1:44 PM Sheriff’s Deputies arrested John Anderson, 31, of Patchogue, NY, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the second degree. Mr. Anderson was attempting to enter the Suffolk County Correctional Facility Security Booth checkpoint in Yaphank for the purposes of visiting an inmate. Mr. Anderson was using an invalid driver’s license while knowing or having reason to know that he had an active suspension on his NYS Conditional Use driver’s license and was driving the motor vehicle to a location not specified within the stipulations of the Conditional Use License. A routing DMV computer check revealed that Mr. Anderson’s NYS driver’s license was suspended on October 27, 2018, due to pending prosecution by court for blood alcohol count. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the second degree.
