Arrest: Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle in the 3rd Degree

10/29/19: At approximately 8:53 AM Sheriff’s Deputies arrested April Beebe, 50, of North Babylon, NY, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree. Ms. Beebe was attempting to enter the parking lot of the Riverhead Correctional Facility for the purpose of bailing out an inmate. A computer check of his DMV records showed that the vehicle’s registration was suspended for not having insurance in effect. It also revealed that Ms. Beebe’s driver’s license was suspended due to not having insurance in effect and that the vehicle was uninsured. The registration plates were confiscated and Ms. Beebe’s vehicle was towed from the parking lot. Ms. Beebe was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 3rd degree, operating a vehicle while the registration or privilege is suspended or revoked, operating a vehicle without proper insurance coverage, and not surrendering her registration plates.
