Arrest: Agg. Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle 3rd Degree/ Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Reg.
11/13/19: At approximately 1:31 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested James Quinnchetta, 32, of Brentwood, NY, for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Mr. Quinnchetta was attempting to enter the Riverhead Correctional Facility Security Booth checkpoint while operating a motor vehicle that had two open suspensions. A check of DMV records showed that the vehicle’s registration was suspended for not having insurance in effect. The registration plates were confiscated. The DMV check also revealed that Mr. Quinnchetta’s driver’s license was also suspended and that the vehicle itself was uninsured. Mr. Quinnchetta was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 3rd degree, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and operating a vehicle without insurance in effect.
